We Specialize in Children with Special Needs

LOTUS Pediatric Day Care is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care(PPEC) Center licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration. Our organization is dedicated to the expert medical care of children from birth through age 21, with disabilities and complex conditions. Our Pediatric Day Care Center’s inclusive day health program will provide a Protocol of Care which includes: medical, nursing, therapy, psychosocial, developmental, and educational therapies. Our multi-lingual and multi-cultural staff consists of a board certified pediatrician, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, behavioral analyst, physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapist.

Our focus is on providing impeccable and compassionate care to the development of the child’s independence and lifelong health. Daily care at our center involves clinical interventions, therapy services, and educational activities.

Supplemental

Our transportation service provides round trip to from either home, school, or doctors office to day center and back home. A skilled nurse escorts the child at all times. 

We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday & Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Our services are covered by Medicaid, Medicaid HMOs, CMS Network and some commercial insurances. We work with each child’s physician to obtain orders, create a plan of care and secure insurance authorization.
